1970 Cardinal Deluxe 14FT Travel Trailer For Sale

Cardinal's small travel trailer line, called the Cardinal Deluxe made by Cardinal Trailers from its introduction in the 60s until the late 70s, is essentially a wooden frame with aluminum body skin based on a small trailer platform. This particular one has spent all its life in the dry climate of New Mexico and shows its solid shape without any corrosion. Over half a century is still beautiful and in exceptional condition for its age.


Found this one being offered for sale by the owner on Craigslist for $6,500 in Espanola, New Mexico. 1970 Cardinal Deluxe Travel Trailer 14 feet long with a low profile to make it stable and lighter when pull out on the road, garageble, and very popular in its era.



Hard to find imperfections inside, as not all angles are present in photos, it looks has been renovated, but remains its original floorplan. The Cardinal is a perfect tiny family camper for weekend adventures. That has a bathroom with toilet, couch, bunk above and, a lot of space and storage on top, could be perfect for sleeping two adults with three children.


You can see now, still cool with freshly turquoise paint over the white exterior, suitable and matching the interior color scheme. Just did several upgrades to the framing area and double-sealed all windows, a door, and corners to make has solid and leak-free for the next decades.

Beautiful vintage camper in exceptional condition for it's age. Framing is very solid throughout. All windows, door, and corners have been double sealed this year. New paint inside and out. She's the only 14ft. Camper I've seen that has a bathroom with toilet. Also has the original "Cardinal" moon hubcaps. $6500 obo.
